This holiday season, the Naked Juice Company will donate 5¢ to Augie’s Quest for every Naked® Juice product purchased during the months of
December ‘06 and January ‘07.

Contributions raised will go directly to Augie’s Quest to help support cure-based global research to:

- Identify the cause(s) of ALS
- Slow and stop the progression of   the disease
- Reverse the effects of ALS

- ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, or, Lou
    Gehrig’s disease) destroys the nerve cells
controlling muscles, ultimately causing
complete paralysis while    leaving mental function intact  
     - Survival is typically two to        five years after diagnosis        and no cure exists
 
 
 
 
 


- Augie Nieto, a prominent leader in the nation’s fitness industry for nearly three decades, received a diagnosis of ALS in March 2005

- Augie is the co-founder of Life Fitness, and in 2005 he received the fitness industry’s top honor -
the Lifetime Achievement Award

- Currently, Augie is co-chairperson of MDA’s ALS division and chairman of Octane Fitness
